Julie's Simple Trick
Let me ask you a question, have you ever felt like some days you can eat only an apple and still not lose weight? Well you’re actually not losing weight!
The human body is a remarkably complex machine. Regardless of what the brain wants, the body is programmed above all to do one thing: survive. When the body senses that it is being deprived of food, such as when you go on a calorie cutting diet, it takes action to ensure that you don't starve. One of those actions is to start increasing how much body fat is stored, leading to the dreaded plateau problem.
That's why you can literaly eat nothing and still not lose weight (we've all gone through that!...frustrating to say the LEAST). Well there's good news. You can actually trick your body into burning fat all day long while reducing your calories and cutting hunger. It's called calorie staggering. By changing the amount of calories and eating high fat (I call them delicious) foods at the right times, your body will never "adjust" and store the calories as fat.
This trick will essentially make your body highly inefficient with processing your food and regulating its metabolism. Therefore your body will have to tab into your fat reserves without shutting down your metabolism, burning hundreds of extra calories per day. Remember your body wants to be as efficient as it can, it’s a survival tactic. But this "loophole" tricks your body into becoming inefficient. So that weight loss plateau you've probably encountered, well you finally get to say goodbye to that... forever! Wow that felt good to write :)
So go ahead eat that pizza or burger, or even ice cream and still lose weight. I'll be willing to bet your friends will ask you how you’re losing weight so fast, especially when they see you with that pizza in your hand!

This will help your kidneys function better, taking stress away from the liver and allowing it to burn more fat. Eight to ten glasses a day is a great rule of thumb.
# 2: Eat an Apple Between Meals
This does two things, keeps your metabolism up between meals and makes your body think you’re getting food often, therefore keeping your metabolism high. As with any fruit or vegetable, the vitamins and minerals will aid in weight loss.
# 3: Small Changes
Make small changes with the foods you eat. Switch out healthy alternatives for common foods and the calories saved will add up quickly. Buy low calorie margarine over butter, buy 1% over whole milk.
